• Whole class instrumental and vocal provision, for all schools in the borough.
• A subsidised instrumental and vocal tuition scheme, available to all schools in the borough.
• The annual Lambeth Music Festival, for all schools in the borough.
• Access to training opportunities, instruments, electronic equipment and music resources, for  Lambeth tutors.
• Continuing Professional Development and In Service Training for Lambeth teachers.

• Working with Children and Young People’s Service and community musicians to provide a variety of experiences
• Co-ordinating performance opportunities for school musicians.
• Providing a structure of progressive ensembles and ensuring a balance of instrumentation and  equality of opportunity.
• Providing In-service training and support for Class teachers and Music teachers.
• Providing, resources, equipment, instruments and facilities for schools and music teachers.
• Co-ordinating the efforts of schools across the phases, and tracking the progress of children in music.
• Offering inspection and examination services for Secondary school departments.
