| Brendon Le Page Head of Lambeth Music Service Brendon Le Page’s early musical experiences were gained in South Africa, where he played trumpet in several bands and orchestras, including the SA National Youth Orchestra, and later freelancing with orchestras in Cape Town and Natal. He established the first South African National Wind Band Festival, and the South African Youth Wind Ensemble, with Frederick Fennell as the first guest conductor. On moving to the UK, he has freelanced as a brass player, teacher and conductor, and made a CD with Cantium Winds which was heard on Classic FM and BBC TV. He has worked for Kent Music and Croydon Music Service, where he enjoyed taking various youth groups on tours to exotic countries, including Estonia, the USA and South Africa. As an active member of BASBWE, he jointly organised the National Conference in Canterbury in 1996, edited Winds Magazine for 4 years, and was the Executive Officer. In January 2006 he was appointed Head of Lambeth Music Service. He is in regular demand to give Teacher Training on basic conducting skills and whole class teaching methods throughout the UK. send an email |

His work covers all the communication aspects of the Lambeth Music Service including the LMS staff, Lambeth schools and parent contact.
