A little introduction…
In Harmony is a government project inspired by Venezuela’s El Sistema, a unique orchestral programme designed to improve children’s lives through music.

In Harmony has currently three national pilots, In Harmony Lambeth (led by Lambeth Music Service), Liverpool (led by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic) and Norwich (led by Norwich and Norfolk Community Arts).

In Harmony Lambeth is led by Lambeth Music Service and the three major partners, the Southbank Centre, Amicus Horizon and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.  We are based in the SW8 area of London, on Lansdowne Green and surrounding Primary schools Herbert Morrison, St Stephen’s CofE and Wyvil.  The project is focused around our after-school orchestra’s and regular performances, with a focus on musical excellence within an intensive weekly programme.

The recently formed Friends of In Harmony Lambeth is a parent and community association which aims to support the development of In Harmony Lambeth through fundraising, volunteering, and activities which raise the profile of the project in the local community. Joining the project
If you have a child who would like to be part of In Harmony Lambeth you must live in the SW8 postcode region and/or your child must attend either Herbert Morrison, St Stephen’s CofE or Wyvil Primary school’s.  Please contact us directly if you fit this criteria.
