Centre For Young Musicians

Tippet Music Centre (TMC), the Lambeth Music Service Saturday centre, accepts entry at all levels of experience and ages and will encourage students who would benefit from more intensive study to apply to CYM. The majority of students will attend TMC then move on to CYM.

The Centre for Young Musicians (CYM) is a London-wide Saturday music school based at Waterloo in Lambeth. Students who show particular promise on their instrument are invited to apply annually in March for entry in September.

Students at the CYM receive:

  • 30 mins one to one tuition on their instrument
  • musicianship class
  • relevant ensemble eg. wind band or orchestra
  • choir
