The Lambeth Music Service runs regular in-service training for its own instrumental and vocal teachers, and also offers a range of CPD opportunities for teachers and teaching assistants working in the Borough’s schools.

Teachers at those schools participating in the Musitrax programme attend a variety of one or two-day training courses before the project starts, and also receive training throughout the delivery of the project.

LMS in partnership with the ABRSM offers the “Teaching Music Effectively” course.

LMS offers ICT training and vocal INSETs for the music coordinators prior to the Music Festival.
