The Lambeth Music Service currently provides instrumental and vocal tuition to more than 2000 pupils in over half the schools in Lambeth.
Tuition ranges from individual lessons to large groups and LMS’s bank of tutors offer a wide range of instrumental and vocal lessons.
Many of the LMS tutors also prepare instrumental and vocal groups to perform in schools and at the Lambeth Schools’ Music Festival.
Tuition is offered on a wide variety of woodwind, brass, string, keyboard
and percussion instruments, as well as a variety of vocal styles.
The Headteachers Steering Group meets regularly to monitor the LMS’s activities and policies, and detailed Service Level Agreements for schools are available.
