Lambeth Music Service and Southbank Centre are extremely pleased to announce their continued partnership presenting the 2012 Lambeth Schools’ Music Festival. Shan Maclennan, Creative Director of Learning and Participation, welcomes the young musicians from Southbank Centre’s home borough and is looking forward to an even more successful festival this year.

Large Ensembles Concert 7pm |
Small Ensembles Concert: This concert is for small musical groups such as chamber groups, or acoustic/folk groups.
Contemporary Music Concert: This concert is for pop, rock, and jazz ensembles and singers/MCs from primary or secondary schools.
Primary Choir Concert: This concert is for primary schools who wish to perform their own choir repertoire.
Secondary Singing Concert: Choirs will be invited to perform a 5- to 8-minute set of their own material, as well as performing in the massed choir in the second half of the concert.
Infant Singing Concert: A selection of songs for KS1.
Junior Singing Concert: A selection of songs for KS2.
The Infant and Junior Singing Concerts will be led by Laka D and accompanied by the LMS band.
Strings Concert: This concert is for string ensembles, of all sizes, and will be in the Queen Elizabeth Hall
Large Ensembles Concerts: These concerts are for large groups, with a larger repertoire.
