Lambeth Live Explosion Winterville Clapham Common Spiegeltent December 9th 2017 3-6pmThe Lambeth Live Explosion (LLE) is a performance opportunity for young musicians aged 11-25 to perform in a professional live music venue. The concerts feature bands, DJs, singer songwriters and MCs from schools and local music hub partners. The focus at the LLE is on inclusivity and support for all in what has now become a celebratory sharing experience for musicians, their families and friends. Started in 2010, the LLE has offered this opportunity to hundreds of young musicians. |
The Winterville concert was produced by the Lambeth Music Service events team in collaboration with Field Day Productions, who invited LMS to deliver an event for 11-18 year olds in the famous Spiegeltent as part of their pledge for community inclusion. The event was a great success with high quality performances and lots of original material being presented by the young artists. The Winterville production team really enjoyed working with the young performers and were overwhelmed at the level of skill and professionalism shown by each act. All performers were offered complimentary free meal tokens supplied by Street Feast and a free token for a fairground ride. From the positive outcome of the concert It was agreed by Lambeth Music Service and Field Day productions that this would become an annual event so hope to see you in December 2018.
