Lambeth Sounds is continuing to adjust programmes to maintain its offer of high-quality teaching and learning within a landscape of rapid change. As we again face more disruption to activities following the new National Restrictions, we want to briefly highlight the support that Lambeth Sounds provides for schools and families, give an update on our Hub governance and share some new opportunities.
Since September....
Partner organisations and schools have worked closely to align guidance and risk assessments to ensure that over 3000 children have been able to safely engage with in-school music activities since September. Provision outside of school has resumed in a range of ways including composition projects, music industry and artist development courses, plus weekly instrumental tuition at the Brixton Hill Music Centre.
