After careful consideration, and in consultation with colleagues at the council, we have decided to postpone Lambeth Sounds Music Festival.
The situation as regards the coronavirus is now such that it will almost certainly impact on the attendance of staff, participants and audience members and prevent us from facilitating safe and successful events. Whilst we feel disappointed not to be able to proceed with the festival as planned, we believe prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our community of young people, parents and staff is the right thing to do. Once we have a clearer sense of the path ahead, we will make and share plans for rescheduled events along with further guidance for participating groups. With thanks for your support and understanding in these challenging times, Bryan Welton Head of Lambeth Music Service |
