Lambeth Sounds Celebrates Make Music Day on 21st June 2022
Lambeth Make Music Day 2022 – Celebrating music making across Lambeth.
Make Music Day is a global celebration of music making that takes place annually on 21st June. This year Lambeth Sounds with the help of schools and our Hub partners will be championing Make Music Day and focus onthe vast array of music making in Lambeth. This opportunity will also act as a platform to raise the profile of how music making supports the wellbeing of pupils and staff. Lambeth is awash with young singers, instrumentalists, bands and orchestras and we are taking this opportunity to showcase making music or performing that will help us achieve making the 21st June a really special day of celebrating music in Lambeth.

'Singing is important because it builds self-confidence, promotes self-esteem, always engages the emotions, and enables young people of different ages and abilities to come together successfully to create something special in the arts’. (G.Welch, 2012) |
