“Lambeth Sounds works in partnership with many excellent music providers such as Tomorrow’s Warriors, Kinetika Bloco, London Music Masters, In Harmony Lambeth, Soothsayers, Raw Material and School Ground Sounds. These organisations offer a wide range of opportunities and have many focused, committed and skilled young musicians coming through their projects. Lambeth is a musically exciting borough and the chance for local young artists to showcase their skills on a world class stage is amazing”.
Lambeth Sounds have been working alongside the organisers of these events developing opportunities for young Lambeth musicians since 2017. In 2017 and 2018 they delivered the Lambeth Live EXPLOSION a Winterville and in June 2018 they ran a successful competition for young artists to perform at Field Day. This competition was run in collaboration with BBC6 Music DJ Gilles Peterson and the Brownswood Records Future Bubblers team who selected the competition winners.
