Lambeth Sounds Music Festival Resources
Lambeth Music Service in collaboration with Southbank Centre are delighted to announce the Lambeth Sounds Music Festival 18th-23rd March 2019.

As we prepare to launch Lambeth Sounds, the new music hub for Lambeth, we have changed the Festival name to reflect this. The new hub will offer a range of exciting opportunities for all children, young people and adults who live in Lambeth.

For nine years the Lambeth Music Festival has taken up annual residency at Southbank Centre and become one of the largest youth music festivals in the UK.

During this time, an estimated 25,000 young musicians have participated and over 40,000 audience members attended free of charge. You can read about last year’s festival in the 2018 festival brochure

Lambeth Sounds Music Festival will capture the energy, passion and focus of young musicians and celebrate the achievements of our musical community. Each day of the Festival will feature a different style of music making including singing, orchestras, pop and rock bands, percussion groups, DJing and music technology. The Festival will also provide a platform for new young composers and creates links between schools and music hub partners as they share the experience of performing together.
